Quick Barbecued Beef Sandwiches

Deli roast beef simmers in a tangy tomato sauce and is served on toasted hamburger buns to make tasty, family-pleasing sandwiches.

Directions

Heat the oil in a 12-inch skillet over medium heat.  Add the onion and cook until tender, stirring occasionally.

Stir the soup, water, brown sugar, vinegar and Worcestershire and heat to a boil.  Reduce the heat to low.  Cook for 5 minutes.  Add the beef (separating the slices so they get coated in the sauce) and cook until the mixture is hot.  Season with salt and pepper, if desired.  Divide the beef and sauce among the buns.

1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 medium onion, chopped (about 1/2 cup)
1 can (22.6 ounces) Campbell's® Condensed Tomato Soup
0.25 cup water
2 tablespoons packed brown sugar
2 tablespoons cider vinegar
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1.5 pounds sliced deli style roast beef
